Joseph's Cottage is located on a quiet side street in central Goolwa and provides a delightfully comfortable, well appointed central base from which to experience the charm of this historic River Murray port town and South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. It is a short two-minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shops.

The cottage is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Fleurieu Peninsula, just five minutes walk will take you to the wharf, main street, hotels, restaurants and shopping centre or take a short drive to local wineries, golf courses and surf beaches.

The 1860s stone cottage (see History) has two-bedrooms (queen and two singles), a library/music room equipped with wood fire and books and music for the enjoyment of toddlers through to all ages and interests, a second lounge with TV/VCR, a dining room and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. The refurbished bathroom includes a washing machine.
